The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual event that engages birdwatchers of all ages in counting birds. Anyone can participate and it takes as little as 15 minutes each day or more if you wish. If you're not sure how to go about it, come to the Lake Waccamaw State Park and the park rager will give you some tips.
